Planting at Stratford upon Avon Train Station

It's been great to see all the plants growing well and bursting with colour at Stratford-upon-Avon Train Station after some enjoyable planting sessions there with our Green Therapy group and volunteers Jenny Fradgley and Jon Knight from Friends of the Shakespeare Line.

Over the past few years we have been working together to beautify the space at the station to make it both pleasing on the eye and more biodiverse and it’s been fantastic to bring together members of the community in doing so.

Other sessions we have enjoyed at the station have included watering the plants to help them grow, weeding the planters and litter picking to tidy up the area.
