Want a company team building day that makes a difference?
At Forest of Hearts we offer fun, rewarding team building events full of eco-themed activities where corporate groups can enjoy a company outing in the great outdoors and do something meaningful that will make a real difference. Come to our lovely, secluded nature reserve in Stratford upon Avon, or we can bring the activities to you.
Now you can enjoy employee engagement experiences which benefit the local environment, wildlife and community. We have a wide range of outdoor activities that are tailored to meet your group needs and are suitable for every season.
Each green team event will help to fund our environmental and wellbeing programmes. Day events are tailored to your needs and your contribution is £125 per person, with a minimum of 10 team members. So why not get involved, give back and do good! Download our Green Team Events leaflet here.
Event Activities
We have a wide range of activities available to build your team, do good and have fun
Bug and Bee B&Bs
Design and create bug and bee hotels. Make effective structures using both waste and natural materials to provide nesting and shelter for various beneficial insects, including solitary bees, ladybugs, and other bugs and pollinators. By creating these habitats, you’ll support biodiversity and help maintain healthy ecosystems, as these insects play crucial roles in pollination and help enrich the gardens.
Tree Planting
Plant native broadleaf trees each to help us create Barn Owl Wood where this year six barn owl chicks have hatched in our nesting box. The trees will soak up carbon emissions and provide a much needed preserved habitat for wildlife on our five acre nature reserve. Book your team tree planting event here. Tree planting events are available from November to March at a range of sites in Warwickshire.
Pots of Plants
Set up and operate a production line in your team to make a large number of plant pots during three x 3-minute production runs using the recycled newspapers. For this task, you’ll compete against the other teams to see who can create the most high quality plant pot. Then, fill with peat-free soil and plants for them to grow and be rehomed in our NHS hospital gardens.
Living Walls
For an all year round activity which can be delivered at all locations, you may like to create beautiful green living walls that will be installed at your local NHS hospital. This is a relaxing, purposeful and fun team challenge where you fill up planters with colourful and edible plants to soak up nitrogen dioxide and provide habitats to boost biodiversity and improve wellbeing. Outdoor Escape Room
Eco Escape is our outdoor escape room which is a fun, team-building adventure where participants work together to solve puzzles, decipher codes, and tackle challenges in order to escape before the time runs out. It’s like a regular escape room but set in the great outdoors and there are 4 areas around our nature reserve to navigate.
Fruit Tree Guilds
You can help us to create Fruit Tree Guilds which are mini eco system gardens designed to boost biodiversity. One of the main aims of creating fruit tree guilds within our orchard is to create a “No-Dig” sustainable way to grow perennial vegetables and plants which require little or no maintenance. Now you can bring your team to create a guild of your own.
Sustainable Planters
Design and create a sustainable planter that depicts your team’s creativity and commitment to achieving Net Zero. The planter will be donated to an NHS hospital for staff, patients and visitors to boost wellbeing and biodiversity
Disc Golf
Compete against each other in a fun, energetic round of Disc golf which is like golf but uses a frisbee. The goal is to throw the disc into a metal basket with the fewest throws, just like putting a golf ball into a hole. The course involved many obstacles and challenges which makes it highly competitive.
