NFU Mutual's Talent Acquisition Team Helps Transform Stratford Hospital Garden

We were delighted to welcome the Talent Acquisition department from NFU Mutual to Stratford-upon-Avon Hospital for a vibrant volunteering day at the hospital gardens.

From the moment they arrived, the team brought energy and enthusiasm, and a genuine spirit of collaboration. Their efforts across all of the green spaces helped us maintain and enhance this vital area that supports wellbeing for patients, staff, and visitors alike.

Here’s what they accomplished:

🌱 Weeding, strimming, and mowing to keep the garden neat and inviting

🌸 Planting a beautiful array of plants to boost biodiversity and seasonal colour

🎨 Painting picnic benches to refresh seating areas and encourage outdoor breaks

✂️ Trimming hedges to maintain structure and visibility

♻️ Shredding and composting garden waste to support our sustainability goals

Their hard work didn’t just improve the physical space but it uplifted the atmosphere. The team were fantastic company throughout the day, bringing laughter, teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose that made it so productive.
