Tree planting with Wipro

Wipro have teamed up with us to support our ‘Plant Trees Plant Hope’ campaign through their sustainability initiative.

Within this initiative Wipro believes it can make a lasting impact to create a just, equitable and humane society and has chosen to focus on Education & Ecology, in its journey towards being a Responsible Global Corporation.

They have chosen to partner up with our charitable incorporated organisation to help us raise vital funds towards our tree planting campaign in a bid to build biodiversity and combat climate change. Through donations made by Wipro employees we will be able to plant trees in a number of local community areas in the UK and they have committed to match employee giving for this important cause 1-to-1, multiplying the impact of each team member's generosity.   

Wipro believe they wield significant capacity to influence social issues and consider this ‘power to do good’ as a responsibility. Head of sustainability Kishan Changlani feels “it’s an important issue and this is our way of giving back to Mother Earth”.  

With the donation contributions, not only is this helping leave a lasting legacy, but it also helps towards the environmental education and training we provide for our Green Therapy group who are individuals experiencing social isolation and/or physical/mental health disabilities.

Our aim for 2021 is to plant 2,021 trees and so far, this been a fantastic start to us achieving this target. We always welcome donations from individuals and companies who care about the environment.
