Social Value Event with Menarini Diagnostics Ltd

Our five-acre nature reserve was buzzing with energy as 33 employees from Menarini Diagnostics Ltd arrived for a day dedicated to social value, teamwork, and environmental action. With colleagues travelling from across the country and many of whom hadn’t seen each other in person in quite some time, the event became a joyful reunion as well as a powerful demonstration of Menarini’s commitment to Fighting for the Environment and Promoting Health from Every Angle.

Their two‑day Sales Meeting brought them to Warwickshire, and they chose to give something meaningful back to the local area. After a warm welcome and refreshments, the team headed outdoors ready for action. What followed was a day of purposeful activity, shared achievement, and genuine impact on the landscape we care for.

What the Menarini Team Achieved:

Planted 750 Hawthorn trees to create a 100‑metre hedgerow

This new hedgerow will become a thriving wildlife corridor, offering food and shelter for birds, insects, and small mammals. As it matures, it will also strengthen biodiversity, improve soil stability, and contribute to natural carbon capture.

Planted 235 beech trees around one of our therapy cabins and future medicinal plant area

These young trees will grow into a calming backdrop for wellbeing sessions, while helping to define and protect the space where medicinal plants will soon be cultivated.

Pulled up and shredded invasive brambles

The clearing of the dense bramble patches will now open up the ground layer, allowing native plants to flourish and improve access for visitors and volunteers.

Sieved half a tonne of compost from garden waste into fine potting compost

This beautifully sifted compost will be used to grow medicinal plants from seed and cuttings, supporting our therapeutic horticulture programmes and reducing the need for bought‑in materials.

Supported the early groundwork for our new Active in Nature exercise trail

Their efforts helped us take the first steps toward creating an outdoor movement space designed to support physical and mental wellbeing for community groups and visitors.

Created a video to promote our Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea Party

The Menarini marketing team also produced a short promotional video to help showcase one of our upcoming events.
