Creating Willow Bird Feeders with our Green Therapy group at Mary Ann Evans Hospice
We enjoyed a crafty and therapeutic Green Therapy session with our group at Mary Ann Evans Hospice as we were joined by Chaz from Wayside Willow to create Willow bird feeders. From weaving the slender willow branches to sharing laughter and conversation, the entire session was a nice blend of creativity and camaraderie.
We extend our gratitude to Chaz for his time and expertise and we look forward to hanging our handmade feeders in the gardens to be enjoyed by our feathered friends.
This session was our final one of 2024, which rounded off a successful year. Our time at the hospice during the year saw us create a sensory garden area, grow and harvest vegetables, create bug and bee hotels, help plant and maintain the garden areas and make a mosaic table out of recycled materials.
The group has developed meaningful connections, made a positive impact, and brought joy to everyone involved through shared experiences and creative activities. We look forward to our new sessions in 2025.
