650 more trees planted
We planted 650 more trees to create hedgerow at our Field of Life in Snitterfield, just 3 miles outside Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The hedge itself was planted either side of our orchard and woodland area creating a natural corridor to provide shelter for the fruit trees.
As it grows it will provide many environmental benefits as well as increasing the biodiversity of the area by creating a habitat for many species of animals and insects.
We give thanks to the volunteers from the local community who joined us to plant the trees and those from BAM Construction who gave their time as part of their volunteering scheme.
A special mention to The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) and OVO Energy for supplying the trees and allowing us to be part of the #IDigTrees scheme to help plant 2 million trees and create greener communities.
