The forest is designed to be safe and accessible for all. We can cater for groups of all ages, and the forest provides a great setting for educational workshops that fit with the national curriculum – including everything from food, cooking and nutrition (now compulsory) to ecology and ecosystems (biology) to work in the victory garden (history, WWII & II). We will expect a contribution per child, all of which will be re-invested in maintaining the forest for future use.
An industrious team of senior managers from Vodafone invest their time at Springfield Primary School, Moseley to create the new "Forest Garden" where the children will work with us to plant and grow their own fruit and vegetables. Organised in partnership with Volunteering Matters and Event Cow, we are delighted to help out and create a thriving teaching space for the children.
