Green Therapy: winter sessions

As the nights get colder and the days get shorter it is just as important to get outside and get active. Green therapy is back for our winter sessions. Every Friday from the 16th November - 21st December we will be holding 2 sessions.

11am-12.30 from Ken Kennett centre will be a walk and warming soup lunch and Christmas crafts with Lani.

1pm-2.30 from Lifeways centre will be Tai chi class with Steve, a walk and gardening skills.

These sessions are about learning new skills, meeting new people and enjoying what the outdoors has to offer! Each session is just £3 and refreshments are included.

There was a network of outdoor activities and run weekly Garden Gym and Grow Creative sessions so that up to 40 people could be referred/be offered opportunities to carry out gardening tasks and do creative activities which provide regular gentle outdoor exercise. The slides from the Training Session are here.
